Code of conduct

Welcome to the sans!

We want this to be a fun, comfortable and inclusive space to explore playful programming and esolangs. To that end, this isn't a space where anyone needs to explain or defend their marginalization nor have their feelings or experiences dismissed or criticized.

This document is to help us maintain a safe space. If you have any comments, or suggestions to make this document better please don't hesitate to reach out. Like the rest of this wiki, this is intended as a living document so that it can continue to reflect the values of the community.

Bigotry, including but not limited to discrimination or hate speech based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability or any other attacks on one's personhood will not be tolerated and will result in being banned from the space. The same is true for any sort of threatening behavior or harassment.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable about anything that may be taking place, do not hesitate to reach out to an admin. As of the initial writing of this document the admi team is very small, but in the future we hope to grow the team to include more diverse voices so that you will feel comfortable reaching out to one or more of the admins should the need arise.

NOTE: This is a modified version of a code of conduct originally written for a "play by post" forum. This document should be considered a draft for the time being.
